Apparently there was a line of people waiting to get Aspire one's when the store opened up at 10am! <br><br>Since I had 65 (not 60 dollars) in Rewards Points from Best Buy, I got the Aspire one for $349 - 65 dollars, or $284 before taxes. At that price, the system was a steal IMHO! heck it's cheaper than the first gem Eee PC!<br><br>Initial thoughts - Love it! <br>Pros:<br>* Light weight design<br>* Beautiful chassis (though the fingerprints are annoying)<br>* Nice screen (though not good for outdoor use)<br>* Surprisingly comfortable keyboard<br>* 120GB HDD<br>* Good performance with the Atom processor<br><br>Cons:<br>* That noisy fan (though it doesn't bother me as much as others I think)<br>* The mouse buttons on the sides of the trackpad as opposed to underneath it.. what a pain<br>* Battery life is a shade over 2 hours for a 3 cell battery.
