IO-DATA introduces Mac TV for Japan

For the Japanese market comes the new IO-DATA Mac TV external USB tuner. This small white device features a digital tuner, an internal B-CAS slot and a USB 2.0 interface. Unfortunately there isn’t much else on this device but hey – at least it matches the Mac well enough.

how cool is this. MAC TV, is it some how an Apple Macintosh product. Is this available outside japan. Yeah I agree with the design part of apple, .. white with a gradient. ...lol

These Mac TV would sell a lot in Brazil, where the ISDB-T standard was implemented without B-CAS and with H.264 (Mpeg4 part 10) instead of the Mpeg2 that was implemented early in Japan.
Today in Brazil there are many USB tuner solutions for Windows, 1Seg and FullSeg, but there is no ISDB-Tb solutions for Mac yet.
