Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte introduced
Nokia added a new premium mobile handset today called the Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte. The slider phone utilizes materials such as carbon fibre, titanium, polished glass, and stainless steel and comes with a unique “tap-for-time” feature which allows consumers to tap the steel surface below the display twice to show the current time (in the form of a clock). Other specs for the Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte include:

- 3.2 megapixel auto focus camera
- High quality audio
- 2 inch, 320 x 240 OLED display
- Numeric keypad
- Voice commands
- Memory expanded to 4GB
- Anti-fingerprint coating reduces smudges on glass and metal
- microUSB connector
- Measures 109 x 45.6 x 14.6 mm and weighs 150 grams
- Comes with Bluetooth touch-sensitive volume control headset, stylish desk stand, and a leather carrying case
The Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte will be available during the third quarter for an estimated price of EUR 1100.
