HP introduces three new ultra-portable business notebooks
HP announced three new ultra-portable business notebooks today – the HP EliteBook 2730p, HP EliteBook 2530p, and the HP Compaq 2230s. The new EliteBook systems feature the latest Intel Processor technologies, an integrated 2 megapixel webcam with business card reader, and an integrated HP NightLight that shines on the keyboard during low-light conditions. Here’s what you need to know about these ultra-portable notebooks:
HP EliteBook 2530p:
- Features HP DuraCase – brushed anodized aluminum exterior casing combined with magnesium alloy chassis designed to pass several military standard durability tests
- Weighs 3.19 lbs
- 12.1 inch diagonal widescreen HP Illumni-Lite LED display
- Choice of ultra-small 1.8 inch hard drive with built-in optical drive or higher capacity 2.5 inch hard drive
- Inner magnesium shell equipped with honeycomb pattern that is thermally bonded to anodized aluminum for a solid construction to withstand day to day use on the road

HP EliteBook 2730p:
- Ultra-thin convertible tablet
- Weighs 3.7 lbs
- Rotate the screen to turn it into a 1.11 inch thin tablet PC
