When Lenovo introduced the IdeaPad S10 netbook earlier in the week, they also mentioned that a smaller netbook would be made available overseas. Now thanks to DigiTimes, we have a bit more info on this smaller netbook which happens to go by the name IdeaPad S9. The S9 will feature an 8.9 inch display, an 8GB SSD, the same Intel Atom N270 processor as its larger brother, 1GB of RAM, an ExpressCard slot for expansion, two USB ports, a 4 in 1 memory card reader, and a built-in webcam. The S9 will offer your choice of either Linux or Windows XP and will be priced at around $418.99.
