PC Mag reviews the ASUS Eee Box PC
PC Magazine has published a review of the new ASUS Eee Box PC system here on their website. The Eee Box is ASUS’s attempt at replicating their successful Eee PC notebook lineup for the desktop market. Inside the small system, you’ll find an Intel Atom processor, 1GB of RAM, an 80GB hard drive, and the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950. Here’s the bottom line from the review:
The ASUS Eee Box PC is just what it’s billed to be: a tiny PC that runs Windows XP and is good for Web surfing and simple tasks
It’s certainly not a bad deal at $350 but keep in mind – you can also find many refurbed systems for around that price that outperform the Intel Atom processor. What you’re ultimately paying for is size and low power usage.
