If you’re a fan of the ASUS Xonar DX sound card but wish it was available for the PCI bus instead of PCI express, well, ASUS has heard your wishes. The company has announced the new Xonar D1 PCI based audio card featuring the same gaming audio effects and Dolby Home Theater features of the Xonar DX PCIe card.
Features of the new Xonar D1 PCI card include the following:

- 116dB Signal to Noise Ratio
- Built-in DS3D GX
- S/PDIF header allows merged outputs of audio and video through HDMI port
- VocalFX voice processing technology
- Magic Voice changes voice pitch to disguise voice
- ASUS AV100 High-definition sound processor
- Analog playback sample rate and resolution of 44.1K/48K/96K/192KHz @ 16/24bit
- Analog Recording sample rate and resolution of 44.1K/48K/96K/192KHz @ 16/24bit
- Complete Dolby Home Theater technologies
