VIZIO IS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST OF THE WORST IN TV MANUFACTURERS. THEY WILL NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT. MY WARRANTY IS EXPIRED 2 MONTHS, AND THEY WONT DO ANYTHING TO HELP ME WITH A DEFECTIVE SET. IT TURNS OFF BY ITSELF AND SOMETIMES IT TAKES ALL DAY OF PLUGGIN IT IN AND UNPLUGGIN IT TO MAKE IT FINALLY COME BACK ON. IT MAY STAY ON FOR 3 HRS OR 3 SECONDS. I NOW HAVE A 50″, $1300 TV THAT IS WORTHLESS!!!!!! DONT BUY VIZIO PRODUCTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a 61″ samsung I bought 2 years ago and it has had a few issues. I decided to buy a Vizio 32″ for my bedroom a year ago and it has worked flawless. Great brand and TV.

You should have challenged them to court. As a very dissatisfied and turned down consumer, you have every right to do so. Don't worry about him forfeiting the award, because what matters is that the extra troubles that you went through because of their incompetence are exposed to the public and appropriately dealt with.

So I purchased a Vizio 32″ plasma TV less then 60 days ago for my partner’s birthday. Just last week I noticed that I had a little green spot on the screen, which just so happen to be pixel burn-out. I called Vizio and talked with them about the problem and even emailed in pictures. When I called back 48 hours later, I was informed that there is nothing Vizio would do for me. That pixel burn-out was not covered under warranty on my specific model.

I just can't believe that a company as new and up coming as VIZIO, is not willing to stand behind its products and for a CEO and founder to be given The Ernst & Young’s Annual Entrepreneur of the Year 2008 Award is BS. I understand why he got it. But what need to happen is maybe you need look into how the customers of his company are being treated in order to be given such a great award.
