First reviews of Dell Studio notebooks from PC Mag and LaptopMag
On the heels of the new Dell Studio notebook announcements, come several reviews of the new products. PC Magazine has a review of the Studio 15 up on their website – giving the notebook their coveted “Editor’s Choice” award. Here’s what PC Mag had to say about it:
Retaining many of the XPS’s qualities while selling it for Inspiron prices is what makes this Studio laptop a winner.
The folks at LaptopMag have a review of the 17 inch model (Studio 17) and have this to say:
You get a fast dual-core processor, discrete graphics, a humongous hard drive, and a beautiful high-res display. And we really like what Dell has done with its Dock interface and webcam software. However, the look of the system isn’t for everyone, and we’d like to see less-finicky volume controls.
