Fuzzy pictures of the Dell Studio Hybrid
I have to admit it.. there’s some good stuff going on over there at Dell these days. Engadget got some fuzzy snapshots of a Dell system known for now as the “Studio Hybrid.” This rusty orange box has components such as an unknown Intel processor/chipset (though that fuzzy picture looks to show an Intel Core 2 Duo logo… or perhaps I’m imagining things), 4GB of RAM, 320GB HDD, Wi-Fi, a built in DVD burner, five USB ports, an HDMI port, S/PDIF out, DVI out, and a memory card reader.
No final word on availability or price but Engadget thinks it will be in the $500 to $700 dollar price range. It’s sexy enough for a look over .. and if I didn’t already have an HP Slimline system, I’d totally consider looking at this box (assuming it had the necessary horsepower). Kudos to Dell for thinking outside of the beige box!
