Sony Europe announced yesterday the introduction of the BRAVIA S4000 series of LCD TV sets. The new S4000 lineup is available in four screen sizes – 26 inch, 32 inch, 37 inch, and 40 inch. The S4000 showcases Sony’s new “draw the LINE” design concept which is all about pared-down styling. Features include:

• Deep piano black finish
• Swivel base
• Integrated DVB-C/DVB-T tuner
• Three HDMI ports
• Auto shut off
• Integrated light sensor automatically measures ambient light levels and dynamically adjusts the TV brightness

The 40 inch model features:

• 1080p resolution
• BRAVIA ENGINE 2 signal processing technology
• 24p True Cinema mode
• BRAVIA Sync

The other models feature Sony’s BRAVIA ENGINE signal processing technology.
