Verizon Wireless announces three new LG phones
Making sure that AT&T doesn’t get ALL the media buzz this week, Verizon Wireless has announced that they are expanding their lineup of LG mobile phones with the addition of three new models – the LG Dare, the LG Decoy, and the LG Chocolate 3 (where do they come up with these names?!?!?!). All three of these new phones will make their debut on Verizon’s network sometime in July. Here’s what you need to know.
The LG Dare is a multimedia phone with an all touch user interface. Features include:
- V CAST Music
- VZ Navigator support
- 3.2 megapixel camera and video camera which automatically adjusts to low or uneven distributed light
- Built-in photo editing tool
- Customized photos can be uploaded directly to social networking sites
- Features intuitive touch-based user interface for speedy texting, e-mailing, and phoning.
For the LG Decoy:
- Glossy front and satin back
- World’s first phone to feature a Bluetooth hands-free headset integrated into phone. The headset slips into the back of the device for easy transport and charging
- Slide phone design
- Five way directional joystick
- V CAST Music and V CAST Video
- VZ Navigator can be downloaded
- Available starting on June 16th
For the LG Chocolate 3:
- Flip style design
- Control wheel on the outside
- FM transmitter
- V CAST Music support
- Dual speakers
- Bluetooth Stereo support
- 1 GB of memory
- microSD card slot
- 2.0 megapixel camera
- V CAST Video support
- ESPN MVP support
- Available in July
