Apple launched their new Back to School promotion campaign today, offering what amounts to a free iPod when you buy a qualifying Mac for college. The promotion works as follows – buy a qualifying new Mac system and either an iPod nano or an iPod touch at the same time. Submit your rebate claim online and you’ll get up to $299 back based on which iPod you purchased. If you purchased an 8GB iPod nano, you’ll get $199 back.
