3K RazorBook 400 Mini Notebook available for $299
Remember the $399 3K Computers Longitude 400 Mini-Notebook? Well it appears that 3K has changed the name to the 3K RazorBook 400 Mini Notebook and lowered the price to $299. The lowering of the price will certainly help it better compete against the EeePC and the HP Mini-Note systems than before. The RazorBook 400 weighs just under 2 lbs, comes with a 7 inch TFT display and a full sized keyboard and supposedly has a boot time of less than 8 seconds with it’s Linux based OS. Features of the system include the following:
- 7 inch WVGA (800 x 480) widescreen display
- 400 MHz 32 bit single core mobile processor
- 512MB RAM
- Internal 4GB flash drive
- Genuine CE Linux OS version 2.4
- Includes Linux Office suite
- Ethernet 10/100
- 802.11 Wi-Fi
- Three USB 2.0 ports
- Full sized keyboard
- Built-in touchpad
- HD audio
- Media card reader
The RazorBook 400 is now available on the 3K website.
