Are you in a marriage threatened to be torn apart by video games? Is your loved one constantly glued to the couch playing his favorite first person shooter? What to do you might ask? If you can’t beat them (into submission that is), join them! That’s what Rachel Skukert writes about in this article over at Slate.com entitled “How Rock Band saved my marriage.” Yes.. I can envision countless marriages saved by this wonderfully simply yet addictive team-based “game”. I too got Rock Band several months ago and it was probably the first time ever that I played video games with my wife – at least with this much passion. Of course, now I’m eagerly awaiting the upcoming Guitar Hero World Tour game which is due out this fall, but in the meantime, Rock Band will simply do.
