JVC introduces Everio GZ-MS100 with one-touch upload to YouTube
JVC is launching the new Everio S Series memory camcorder, the GZ-MS100, which offers one-touch video uploading to YouTube. The GZ-MS100 is smaller than the current Everio G Series camcorder lineup and weighs a mere 0.60 lbs including the battery. The GZ-MS100 records video straight to an SD card instead of a hard drive which helps to lighten the overall device.
One-touch video uploads is provided by a Cyberlink software application which you’ll need to install on your PC. Creating a video suitable for YouTube is pretty straightforward. The GZ-MS100 comes with an UPLOAD button which works in two ways. When you’re ready to shoot a video, press the UPLOAD button and then the trigger button. This will limit the video recording to a maximum of 10 minutes which matches the YouTube file size limit. Once you’ve finished your video recording, connect the GZ-MS100 to your PC and then press the UPLOAD button again. This will launch the Cyberlink application and upload the recorded video to YouTube.
Features of the JVC Everio GZ-MS100 include:
- Laser Touch Operation
- Scroll bar and buttons are touch-sensitive
- 2.7 inch LCD display
- Auto Backlight Control
- Auto Power ON/OFF – open the LCD to power-on and start shooting
- 2 hour 5 minute battery life with BN-VF808 rechargeable battery
- KONIC MINOLTA LENS – 35x optical zoom
- JVC proprietary Gigabrid Engine
- Six digital noise reduction systems improves S/N ratio by 30 percent
- Integrated MPEG-2 encoder
- Program AE with shooting modes (Night, Twilight, Portrait, Sports, Snow, Spotlight)
The JVC GZ-MS100 will be available in June for an MSRP of $349.99.
