MSI joins the ultra-notebook fray with the Wind Notebook
MSI has joined the market for ultra-portable, ultra-lightweight notebooks by introducing the new MSI Wind Notebook. Designed to compete against the likes of the ASUS Eee PC and the new HP Mini-Note, the Wind Notebook weighs around 1kg, features either an 8.9 inch or 10 inch wide LCD display and Windows XP. Other features include:
- LED power-saving backlight technology
- 1024 x 600 resolution
- Key spacing at 17.5 mm
- 2.5 inch 80GB hard drive
According to DigiTimes, the MSI Wind is expected to cost between ($470 to $1099).
