eMachines introduces two new inexpensive desktops
eMachines announced two new inexpensive desktop systems today featuring AMD processors and NVIDIA graphics – the eMachines T3646 and the eMachines T524.
The T3646 features:
- AMD Sempron LE-1250 single core processor running at 2.2GHz
- Windows Vista Home Basic
- NVIDIA GeForce 6100 graphics
- 1GB of RAM
- 160GB SATA II HDD
- 16x DVD+-R/RW SuperMulti Drive
- Keyboard, mouse, speakers
- 6 USB 2.0 ports
- 1 VGA port
- Ethernet
- Measures 14.5 x 7.2 x 16.1 inches and weighs 21.5 lbs
The T3646 is marketed as a “value” machine at a price of $299.99.
Meanwhile, the eMachines T5254 features:
- AMD Athlon BE-2350 dual-core processor running at 2.1 GHz
- Windows Vista Home Premium
- NVIDIA GeForce 6100 graphics
- 2GB of RAM
- 320GB SATA II HDD
- 16x DVD+-R/RW SuperMulti Drive
- 15 in 1 media reader
- Keyboard, mouse, speakers
- 6 USB 2.0 ports
- 1 VGA port
- Ethernet
- Measures 14.5 x 7.2 x 16.1 inches and weighs 21.5 lbs
The T5254 will retail for $399.99 – a price that certainly won’t break your wallet.
