If you’re a PS3 owner, then you might be interested in reading this blog posting by Peter Dille who is the Senior VP of Market & PLAYSTATION Network. As you might expect, the posting is about the PLAYSTATION Network and the many new features in or coming to the network. More importantly, the posting mentions a couple of interesting tidbits – notably:

• Sony will be offering a video service for the PS3 that will distinguish it from other video services out there. The ultimate goal will be to "break through the overwhelming clutter of digital media to give you the TV, movies and gaming content you want."
• Sony will be bringing in-game access to XMB features this year
• Community based services will be designed to allow more community development and collaborative gameplay
• Sony will be launching PlayStation Home in 2008
• Sony is rolling out PlayStation Cards to retailers across the country in denominations of $20 and $50 dollars this spring
