It’s clear that the newly announced HP 2133 Mini-Note PC notebook system will certainly be one of the hot topics for today. PC Magazine has published their in-depth look at the system and found the following:

The HP Mini-Note is not quite an Eee PC killer, but it’s a super-sleek ultra-mobile PC that will sell out as quickly as the Eee PC did.

They ended up giving the system 4 out of 5 stars though no Editor’s Choice award. Should ASUS be worried about the Eee PC compared against the HP 2133? Not yet.. but if the prices should lower for the 2133, then the system becomes an attractive alternative to the Eee PC. I do wish that HP chose an Intel processor instead of the Via processor.
