Nokia and University of Cambridge show off Morph
Nokia Research Center and the University of Cambridge introduced a research concept called “Morph” yesterday at the “Design and the Elastic Mind” exhibition on display at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City. According to Nokia’s press release, “Morph is a concept that demonstrates how future mobile devices might be stretchable and flexible, allowing the user to transform their mobile device into radically different shapes. It demonstrates the ultimate functionality that nanotechnology might be capable of delivering: flexible materials, transparent electronics and self-cleaning surfaces.”
Morph represents the combination of art and science and showcases the “potential of nanoscience.” You’ll be able to see the Morph design concepts at MoMA or on the MoMA website.
