FCC leaks out the Nike+ SportBand
Thanks to the FCC, we now have a glimpse into the next Nike+ product called the Nike SportBand and guess what? It doesn’t need the Apple iPod nano! The SportBand is actually designed to replace the need for the iPod nano and the Nike+iPod receiver device. It fits into a small bracelet and communicates directly with the Nike+iPod sensor that fits inside Nike+ running sneakers. Once you’re done with your run, connect the SportBand directly to your computer via the USB port and then upload your running information. Ah yes – this makes the Nike+ available to the rest of us out there who DO NOT own an iPod nano!
