As more and more people use laptops for their everyday computing, it only makes sense that more companies would release laptop stands for improved ergonomics and of course system cooling. Case in point – LapWorks has introduced two new laptop stands called the Attache and the Envoy. Both stands are designed to elevate laptops to improve viewing and typing ergonomics as well as provide cooling for notebook systems.

Each stand features the following:

  • Two built-in fans for cooling
  • 4 port USB 2.0 hub
  • Push button operation for 4 elevation settings
  • Constructed of sturdy ABS plastic

The Attache only differs from the Envoy by including a large aluminum face plate which serves as a large heat sink. The Attache sells for an MSRP of $69.95 while the Envoy goes for $49.95. Both stands measure 12-7/8 x 11-3/4 x 1-5/8 inches. The Envoy weighs 1 lb 10.5 oz while the Attache weighs 2 lbs and 7.5 oz.
