Microsoft introduces the Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 and 7000
Microsoft introduced two new computer mice today – the Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 and the Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 7000. We’ll start with the 6000 series which is essentially a full sized mouse for mobile users. Features of the Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 include the following:
Snap-in transceiver for easy storage and mobility. Once the transceiver is snapped in, the mouse automatically turns off to conserve battery power- 2.4GHz wireless transmission – with up to 30 feet of reach
- Proprietary High Definition Laser Technology with 1000 dots per inch resolution and 6000 frames per second performance
- Two color battery life indicator – red indicates battery is running low on power while blinking green means the mouse is charging (and solid green is a nice happy fully charged mouse)
- One touch access to Windows Vista’s Flip 3D interface (yeah.. how many of you actually use Flip 3D?)
- Tilt Wheel and Magnifier
- MSRP of $49.95 and available in March
The Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 7000 is a desktop oriented rechargeable mouse. Features of the 7000 include:
Recharge the mouse on a horizontal charging station- One AAA rechargeable battery provides up to 3 weeks of power on a full charge
- 2.4GHz wireless with up to 30 feet range
- Microsoft High Definition Laser Technology with 1000 dots per inch resolution and 6000 frames per second performance
- One touch access to Flip 3D
- Tilt Wheel and Magnifier tool
- MSRP of $69.95 and available in March.
