Transcend has announced that they are now offering a complete lineup of SSD products ranging from 2.5 inch SATA/IDE notebook hard drive replacements to ExpressCard/34 format SSD devices. All the products come with a tough yet lightweight case and storage capacities of up to 32GB. Transcend SSDs can be used in most notebook computers and computer desktops as drop in replacements for regular hard drives. Transcend’s SSDs deliver sustained read/write speeds of up to 30MB/28MB per second and have a latency of under 1 ms.

Other features of Transcend SSD devices include:

• Built-in ECC (error correction code) for highly reliable data transfer
• Advanced wear-leveling technology guarantees ultra-long lifespan and data retention durability for prolonged use – up to twice the lifespan of normal hard drives
• Backed by two year warranty

Transcend also plans on releasing a competitively priced 64GB SSD in the very near future.
