If the Optimus Maximus is a bit too much for you, then perhaps you’ll be interested in the Art. Lebedev Studio’s Optimus mini three. This is a small “auxiliary keyboard-informer” with three OLED displays which also act as buttons/keys. The Optimus mini three keyboard can be used as a toolbar, a remote control, an indicator, or an RSS reader.

You can configure each of the three keys to display either a static image or a animated image. The three keys can be associated with programs or run independent of any applications on your PC. The Optimus mini three also works in sync with your keyboard. You can control the layout configuration of the mini three using your keyboard’s modifier keys which include Ctrl, Shift, Alt, and their combinations.

Price for the Optimus mini three is roughly $150 dollars.
