MTC’s Limepc product line at CES 2008
A Chinese company called THTF (Tsinghua Tongfan Co. Ltd.) had a fairly large booth at CES 2008 where they were showcasing their new product line called “Limepc”. Limepc actually belongs to MTC which is a subsidiary of THTF specializing in multimedia products research and development, manufacturing, and international marketing and sales. Limepc itself is a new product line specializing in HDTVs, Multimedia thinPCs, UMPCs, Handheld PCs, Palm PCs, etc. Limepc also specializes in creating their own OS and application suite for their various devices called the LimeOS Lite.
Above is the Limepc Widescreen PC. This system features:
- 17 inch glossy widescreen LCD display
- 16:10 aspect ratio
- DC powered green energy saving
- TruSurround speakers
- Measures 350 x 410 x 60 mm and weighs 4000 grams
