IOGEAR Mobile Digital Scribe (Model GPEN200N)
The Mobile Digital Scribe is IOGEAR’s entry into the digital ink/pen market. The device is the first ever device to capture natural handwriting from any surface and store it away for future use. The electronic pen actually uses ordinary ink refill and writes on any paper (you don’t need to purchase specially designed paper pads for use with this pen). The Mobile Digital Scribe stores handwritten notes, memos, or drawings and then uploads them to your computer whenever you get the chance. If the Mobile Digital Scribe is directly connected to your computer, handwritten text and images are displayed directly on your computer screen. Features include:
- Write directly into Windows Vista and Office 2007 without the need for extra software.
- Annotate or add digital ink to Microsoft Office applications
- Take notes once and get 2 copies (1 hardcopy and 1 digital).
- Students don’t need to carry their laptops to class, write on paper and upload your notes when you are
back in the comfort of your room. - Full editing capabilities allow you to easily modify any note.
- Export notes via JPEG format and share notes with other users via E-mail or Instant Messaging.
- Add your personal signature in Word documents.
- Create sticky notes on your desktop for reminders, to-do’s or phone numbers.
- Write on any paper up to 8 ½ x 11″
