Today (actually yesterday which was Sunday) was travel day for us here at Krunker. We drove out from Los Angeles to Las Vegas at around 10am and reached Vegas right around 2pm or so (not too bad – especially with a 20 minute rest stop). Luckily the weather held up for the entire drive (I heard Los Angeles got some rain in the afternoon too!). We did manage to get some neat photographs along the 15 of some low lying clouds..

I apologize for the lack of news reporting for the last few days. It’s been a hectic time as I’ve been trying to prepare for the trip to Vegas. We’re actually staying here at the Mirage since the Venetian was a bit more expensive (plus I love the sit ‘n go Poker tables here at the Mirage but more on that some other time!)

Luckily we got here in time to get in line for Bill Gate’s Pre-Keynote speech at 6:30 (more on that shortly). For those curious to know what time folks in the press and blogger community got in line for the pre-keynote – it was around 3pm I believe. I felt like I was waiting for the opening night of a Star Wars film or something.. sheesh!

In any case, it’s taken me some time to post some content up here at Krunker mostly because I just spent five hours playing poker here at the Mirage. Fun times folks.. fun times. Now.. onto the coverage of the pre-keynote speech.
