Ality introduces the Wireless PIXXA Wi-Fi enabled digital photo frame

Ality introduced their latest Wi-Fi enabled digital photo frame today called the Wireless PIXXA. The Wireless PIXXA allows friends and families to send favorite digital images directly to the digital photo frame via an instant messaging-like application. The Wireless PIXXA comes with an 8 inch LCD screen, an intuitive user interface, and a rechargeable battery. You can even create multiple user accounts within the frame allowing every member of the household to have their own multimedia libraries customized to their own preferences and settings on the frame.

Features of the Wireless PIXXA include the following:

Photo Messenger – Send and receive digital photos just like instant messenger. Users can send and receive photos from anywhere in the world via the Internet – either directly from the computer or from from PIXXA to PIXXA frame. Photo Messenger allows users to share digital photos with family and friends and also allows you to chat via the digital photo frame. There’s a web based Photo Messenger and a desktop PC based Photo Messenger client application. You can also receive photographs from Flickr, Picasa, and AlityOnline
Live Calendar – enables users to synchronize their schedules with popular online calendar sites such as Google Calendar. Live Calendar also allows you to attach photos to special dates
Live News – Users can choose specific information to receive via the Wireless PIXXA digital photo frame including news, sports, weather, traffic, entertainment, horoscopes, stock quotes, and other lifestyle updates.
Ality Online Photo Messenger Website – Ality Online provides both Wireless PIXXA users and non-users an online account to store up to 50MB of photos.
Greeting Cards and Event Invitations – friends and family can send holiday and birthday cards as well as event invitations straight to the Wireless PIXXA digital photo frame.
