Here’s something pretty darn exciting. The folks at Moixia Energy are now selling their USBCELL rechargeable AA batteries (2 packs) for $17.49. Theses are NiMH batteries which you can simply plug into your computer’s USB port for a new charge. Yes.. this is actually a USEFUL USB device!!!  There are a ton of devices in my own home that use AA batteries – remote controls and Nintendo Wii remotes come to mind instantly. The price is a bit higher than I would like it to be.. but the environmental benefits are a plus. Once the USBCELL runs out of power , simply pop open the top and plug the device into an available USB port.
