MEDION GoPal P4425 PND features fingerprint sensor
While MEDION’s new GoPal P4425 Personal Navigation Device won’t exactly stop thieves from stealing your GPS device, it will prevent them from actually using the device thanks to the inclusion of the AuthenTec AES1510 slide fingerprint sensor for user identification (but who knows.. maybe this will help deter thefts over time too). With the fingerprint sensor in place, the GoPal P4425 will ensure only authorized users (up to five) can activate the device.
Features of the GoPal P4425 PND include:
- 4.3 inch TFT touch screen display
- Slim 17 mm case
- SiRF Atlas III multimedia processor for playback of MP3 files, videos, and digital photos
- Speed advisor and lane assistant
- Bluetooth support for hands-free use, voice-recognition, and text-to-speech capability for detailed voice instructions
- RDS-TMC receiver for live traffic updates
- FM transmitter
The GoPal P4425 is available in select European markets at this time.
