Dynamism is now taking orders for an 8GB SSD/1GB RAM version of the ASUS Eee PC for $499. This is $100 dollars more than the popular 4GB version of the Eee PC which comes with 512MB of RAM, a 7 inch 800 x 480 display and an Intel 900MHz ULV Celeron processor.  The new $499 8GB machines are available in Pearl White or Galaxy Black and will be available in mid-December.

Meanwhile, Mobile 01 has pictures of a green version of the Eee PC here on their website. The green color as well as a new Blue and Pink version will be coming out in 2008.
