Police in Cheongwon, South Korea found a man who apparently was killed by an exploding mobile phone battery. If this is indeed true, this would be the first known case of a mobile phone battery explosion killing someone. According to this CNN report, LG Electronics has confirmed that one of their mobile phones was involved with this incident but claims that “a battery explosion and death was virtually impossible.”
