Sony announced two new LCD based video projection systems designed for commercial applications yesterday called the VPL-FW300L and the VPL-FH300L. These projection systems are ideal for places such as small auditoriums, large classrooms and meeting rooms, museum exhibits, event centers, ballrooms, and movie theaters for displaying pre-show content. Specs for these new projectors include:

• Uses 3LCD technology
• Feature Sony’s BrightEra imaging technology
• Includes large diameter fans and high flow cooling air ductwork
• Choose between five different standard lens for excellent placement flexibility
• Feature locking bayonet mount mechanism for easy lens changes
• Uses dual 275 watt lamps with expected life of 1500 (high) or 2500(standard) hours
• Control panels located on side for easy installation and maintenance

Features of the VPL-FW300L include:

• 7,000 lumens
• WXGA+ resolution (1366 x 800)
• Suggested price of $27,000

Features of the VPL-FH300L include:

• 6,000 lumens
• 2048 x 1080 resolution
• Suggested price of $40,000
