MacWorld reviews the HP w2007 20 inch widescreen display
MacWorld.com has published a review of the 20 inch HP w2007 monitor here on their website. The w2007 is a widescreen display featuring a high gloss screen coating (I have the 22 inch widescreen cousin in my office – more on that later this weekend). Specs to the w2007 include the following:
- 1680 x 1050 resolution
- VGA and DVI connections
- 160 degree viewing angle
- 300 cd/m2 brightness
- 5 ms response time
- 1000:1 contrast ratio
- Measures 15.6 x 7.3 x 19.3 inches
- Integrated speakers
Here’s the verdict on this glossy monitor:
Hewlett-Packard’s w2007 20-inch display is a good all-around wide-screen monitor with interesting features like built-in speakers and a shiny, high-gloss screen. Its limited viewing angle and lack of color controls might not please picky photographers and discerning designers, but it would be a fine fit for surfing the Web or working on Microsoft Office documents.
