It looks like the Axiom Audiobyte Computer Speaker system is starting to make the rounds on the Internet again. We first mentioned the Audiobyte back on the 8th and gave the following specs:

• Sealed enclosure
• 100-20kHz frequency response
• 8 ohms of impedance
• 1 inch titanium done tweeter
• 3 inch aluminum cone woofer
• Measures 6.5 x 5.5 x 4 inches and weighs 2.7 lbs

If you go to the Axiom Audio website right now, you won’t find these speakers for sale – however, if you’re a member of the owner’s club, then you can certainly pick a set up. The Audiobyte speakers are now available on the Axiom Audio website here (they used to be only available via the owner’s club – not anymore) Prices start at $349 and go up to around $559 depending on the finish you want on your speakers.

• Standard Charcoal, Standard Black, Standard White or Standard Silver – $349
• Synthetic High Gloss Cherry or Synthetic High Gloss Burled Walnut – $399
• Real Wood Burled Walnut Brown or Real Wood Burled Walnut Cherry – $559

I know many of you have never heard of Axiom Audio so let me be the first to tell you that they make top notch speakers that sound utterly amazing. My home theater system actually uses a Axion Audio 5.1 setup.. and man.. they’re gorgeous sounding!!! You get a top notch sounding system for prices which are actually far lower than the competition (and much better sounding!).

If Axiom can reproduce that very same quality for computer speakers, then the Audiobyte will be worth the price!
