PC MicroWorks introduces Black-Hawk XR5 Quad Core Super Notebook
PC MicroWorks Corporation introduced their most powerful portable workstation to date in the form of the new Black-Hawk XR5 Quad Core Super Notebook. The XR5 is the first mobile product to be able to house two of NVIDIA’s flagship mobile PCI-e graphics units - the new GeForce Go 8800GTX in SLI mode.
Features of the Black-Hawk XR5 Quad Core Super Notebook include the following:
- Intel Core 2 Extreme Dual Core processor or Intel Core 2 Quad processors
- Support for up to two 512MB NVIDIA 8800 GTX video cards
- 17 inch HD WUXGA (1920 x 1200) display with CrystalVision technology
- Custom carbon fiber top with automotive gloss protective coating
- Support for up to 4GB RAM
- Support for either EV-DO or HSDPA wireless access
- Optional GPS receiver
- Support for up to three hard drives - allowing for RAID 0, 1, or 5 configurations
- Integrated Media Card Receiver
- DVI port
- 4 USB ports
- 1 Firewire port
- 1 TV out - S-Video and HDTV output supported
- 1 TV in (optional with TV tuner)
- Measures 15.5 x 11.5 x 2 inches and weighs approximately 11 lbs with battery pack
The new notebook will begin shipping in December with pre-orders being accepted now.
