Don’t think for a second that your current first generation Zunes will be made useless with the upcoming second generation Zune. In fact, Microsoft will be releasing a new version of their Zune software and a new firmware for current Zunes. On November 13th, the new software updates will be released and if you accept the update, you’ll be able to do the following:

• Wireless Sync – Yes – your current Zune will be able to wirelessly sync to your music and video library through your home network
• Access to the new Zune Marketplace – now restocked with thousands of new tracks, podcasts, videos, and DRM-free MP3s
• Access to Zune Online Community – connect and share music and pictures that define you
