08basics_L It’s great to have gadgets right? But what do you do when they stop working properly? Who do you turn to? Do you go back to the retailer to fix it? Do you go to the manufacturer and ask them to repair it? Do you ask your significant other or sibling to poke around etc? Well.. more and more, people are finding solutions to problems with their consumer electronics via the web. That’s the central point of the NYTimes article here entitled “Don’t Throw Out Your Broken iPod; Fix It via the Web”. Before you dump that piece of hardware or spend an incredible amount of money fixing it, go online and see if others have run into the same problem. Chances are that if you’re an owner of a popular gadget, then someone else probably had a similar problem to what you’re going through. Thanks to Mag for this linky!
