If I had a little extra cash on hand, I’d definitely consider getting the soon to be released Axiom Audiobyte Computer Speaker system. These are the first computer speakers ever released by Axiom Audio and if their past performance in speaker products is of any indication, then the Audiobyte should be a solid, if not stellar, performer. The Audiobyte Computer Speaker system consists of two speakers and a 55 watt per channel amplifier. It looks like prices will start in at around $349 and go up to around $559 (price depends on the finish you want on your speaker system). Specs on the speakers include the following:

• Sealed enclosure
• 100-20kHz frequency response
• 8 ohms of impedance
• 1 inch titanium done tweeter
• 3 inch aluminum cone woofer
• Measures 6.5 x 5.5 x 4 inches and weighs 2.7 lbs

The Amplifier specs are as follows:

• 55 watts per channel
• Measures 5 x 5 x 12-3/8 inches

You can also purchase an optional subwoofer for $179 dollars. The speakers are not officially available on the website yet but if you’re part of the owner’s club, then you can order them! (yes I’m a proud owner of some Axiom home speakers.. they utterly rock!)
