Congrats to AVerMedia (if this is true). DigiTimes is reporting that AVerMedia recently landed orders from HP for their TV tuner cards to be built into various HP desktops. In addition, the company will be providing TV tuners for HP’s notebook lineup in 2008. AVerMedia has not confirmed this as of yet as the information came from the Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN).  I’ve always been a pretty big fan of AVerMedia – their white box HDTV tuner just works flawlessly (and it’s fairly inexpensive!)
