Sony now selling the new VGN-UX490N/C Micro PC
Sony is now selling a new model in their Ultra-portable Micro PC lineup called the VGN-UX490N/C. This portable computer (not technically considered an ultra-mobile PC) fits easily within a shirt pocket and features the following:
- Intel Core 2 Solo U2200 ULV Processor running at 1.2 GHz
- Windows Vista Business OS
- Three to seven hours of battery life
- 48GB Solid State Drive
- Support for AT&T EDGE network
- Slide up LCD display with two cameras (0.3 megapixels in the front and 1.3 megapixels in the back)
- Built in microphone
- 1GB RAM
- Dedicated control buttons along with vertical thumb rests
- Full QWERTY keyboard
- Integrated biometrics fingerprint sensor
- Bluetooth GPS receiver
- 4.5 inch 1024 x 600 resolution display
- Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950
- Mobile Intel 945GMS Express Chipset
- Intel PRO/Wireless (a/b/g)
- Measures 5.91 x 3.74 x 1.27-1.50 inches
The VGN-UX490N/C is currently available for $2499.99 at the SonyStyle website. The estimated ship date is tomorrow (11/7/2007)
