I just recently got the new 160Gb classic and have it nearly full of music. It often times takes a second or two to think between menu items; cover art does not appear without a slight delay; itunes is often slow in accessing files (windows xp), etc etc. Though I love carrying around all of my music, the iPhone and iPod Touch are just not practical for that, the most amazing thing about the interface on both is the lack of any wait time (internet excluded). the biggest problem with HD based ipods is the read time.
