I swear.. sometimes I have to wonder what’s going on over there at Sony. Case in point? That egg shaped wacked out product called the Rolly. What is it? Well, in the words of GearLog, it’s a “hyped-up flashy, dancing, Bluetooth-enabled 1GB MP3 player.” More importantly, what the heck is it good for exactly?  Yes, while Sony seems to think that simply placing motion-control sensors into a device that’s capable of rolling around and playing music through internal speakers is cool.. I think it’s a complete waste of money – especially since it comes with only 1 GB of memory, and there’s not much use to a flashing MP3 player. People want sound.. and lots of music. Not a device that looks more like a bomb if you ask me. Ok.. enough badgering of Sony. If you think that’s not enough of an argument to stay away from this device, consider the $350 sticker price – and that’s BEFORE the charger and carrying case folks.
