Not only was today a big day for Nokia, it was also a big press day for Sony Japan as they unveiled a whopping 15 new BRAVIA LCD HDTV systems.  The folks at Akihabara News have published some pictures of the unveiling which you can find here. I’ve yet to find good specs on all fifteen new LCD TVs but it’s clear that Sony is trying to make a push to take over first place in the LCD market.

One of the new lines introduced by Sony is their new X7000 Series which also happens to be headlined by their new 70 inch model – the KDL-70X7000. Akihabara reports that the model provides full HD 1080p goodness, x.v.Color support, Motion Flow (120Hz) support, and a new BRAVIA PRO Engine.

There are models spanning all sorts of display sizes so make sure to look at the pictures. Some other new sets include two 52 inch models, two 46 inch models, and two 40 inch models – all of them of course, LCD HDTVs.

Finally, the company launched their new J3000 BRAVIA lineup which has three different screen sizes – 20 inch, 26 inch, and 30 inches.
