LG Electronics has announced a new touchscreen handset called the LG Viewty with an emphasis on advanced imaging functions. How much of an emphasis exactly? Well how about a handset that comes with a whopping 5.1 megapixel digital camera? Not convinced? How about a handset that features manual focus and image stabilization capabilities. Still not convinced? How about a device which supports 120fps video recording!?!?!? Nuts if you ask me! Ah yes.. the LG Viewty also allows you to easily upload recorded videos to YouTube with a single-click.

According to LG, the Viewty will be available from multiple mobile phone operators in the UK later this year. You can expect to see the LG Viewty during the IFA 2007 to be held on August 31st. We’ll wait for more specs in the meantime.
