Toshiba getting ready to launch 320GB notebook hard drive in Nov.
Larger notebook hard drives appear to be coming right around the corner. The Inquirer is reporting that Toshiba plans on releasing a new 320GB notebook hard drive in November. The drive has a rotational speed of 5600 RPM, an 8MB data buffer, and an average seek time of 12ms. The drive will be called the MK3252GSX and will be available in large quantities starting in November. I’m now dreaming of dual spindle notebooks featuring two 320GB drives.. ahh 640GB of storage goodness in a portable form factor.
