Sony introduces Cyber-shot DSC-H3
Now if you’re looking for a bit more power from a Sony digital camera, you might be interested in the newly announced 8 megapixel Cyber-shot DSC-H3. The DSC-H3 features a 10x optical zoom lens, support for HD output, and a compact form factor allowing you to take the camera anywhere you want.
Other features include:
- Support for High Definition component output in full 1080 resolution
- Features built-in slide show function as well as support for transitions choreographed to programmed music clips or your own content
- Supports Sony’s new “Photo TV HD” mode found on new Sony BRAVIA television sets
- 10x Carl Zeiss optical zoom lens
- Long-range flash
- Identifies up to eight faces in the camera’s 2.5 inch LCD display
- Supports advanced sports shooting mode which combines high shutter speed with intelligent continuous auto-focusing
- Utilizes Sony’s Super Steady Shot optical image stabilization to minimize blur and camera shake
- Support for up to ISO 3200
- Sony Dynamic Range Optimizer which analyzes captured image data and determines the best exposure and tonality of each picture before JPEG compression
The new DSC-H3 will ship next month for a price of approximately $300 dollars. Pre-orders will begin on August 23rd.
