Someone please get me this car .. even if it’s a hatchback! It’s the new 2008 “Efficiency” version of the Volvo C30 featuring a 1.6 liter turbo diesel engine which will get you approximately 52 mpg. Nice. According to this News.com blog posting, Volvo also claims the C30, S40, and V50’s with the 2 liter turbo diesel engine will feature a new “Powershift” gearbox which will reduce overall fuel consumption by 8 percent.
